The pilot episode of Vidak’s Corner was recorded in May of 2019. I did not know it back then, but the recording of this episode marked the endo of an era for both my guest and myself.
My guest in this episode was one of my favorite instructors at CRC, prof. Terry Finnegan, who at the time was winding down his decades long career in education. Professor Finegan reflected on his beginnings in briadcasting and the road that eventually, lead him to CRC, a place he called “home” for more than 20 years.
Thanks to the pandemic, that semester was the last one, during which I was physically present on campus in the States. I left a couple of weeks after we finished recirding the episode. Like many students around the world, I was later forced to finish my degree online.
